New Product: HiPer, a Step-Change in High-Fidelity Simulation

We’ve released HiPer, a brand-new solver designed from the ground up to deliver a step-change in cost-effective simulation capability.

Why develop HiPer? 

To give you an inside look, we caught up with the product’s lead developer and our CAA and CFD Specialist, Product Lead Acoustics, Mark Allan, to find out the vision behind HiPer.

Mark told us:

“The aim was to provide a dedicated solver for complex engineering challenges that could offer an order of magnitude change in runtime, accuracy, and memory requirements. While we have experience with Immersed Boundary methods in our general-purpose zCFD solver, this was a far more ambitious goal.

“We needed a dedicated high-fidelity, scale-resolving solver suitable for complex aerodynamics and aeroacoustics that was also cost-effective to run, highly accurate, and for which it was simple to generate meshes.

“The HiPer product stemmed from Zenotech’s contribution to the LandOne project designed to enable next-generation computational aero-acoustics (CAA) technologies to deliver an integrated landing system design solution for Airbus aircraft as they pioneer more sustainable flight.”

Who is HiPer for?
