Cyber Essentials is a Government-backed scheme to help protect users from online threats and support organisations to guard against the most common forms of cyber-attack. This certification offers reassurance to customers and stakeholders that their digital security is taken seriously.

It is an independently verified self-assessment; we were assessed against five basic security controls and a qualified assessor verified the information we provided. The five basic controls within Cyber Essentials were chosen because, when properly implemented, they will help to protect against unskilled attackers using commodity capabilities, which are freely available online.

Ultimately, it is not just your own cyber-security that matters; it is vital to check out your supply chain and Cyber Essentials offers an efficient way to verify your suppliers via a searchable database. As an industry supported scheme, since October 2014, Cyber Essentials has been a minimum requirement for bidding on some government contracts.
