Next-generation CFD with Zenotech at the AWS Conference
Zenotech is excited to be presenting at the upcoming online AWS Conference on 4 and 5 November. Director and Co-founder, Jamil Appa and Lead for our EPIC product, Mike Turner will share insights into next-generation CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) code questioning whether an on-premises HPC resource is still a requirement for industrial-scale projects.
Our talk will spark discussions about the latest innovative developments in CFD code. We’ll be sharing the results of tests using a full aircraft CFD simulation to benchmark the performance of AWS against a traditional on-premises supercomputer.
This work takes on particular significance as the aeronautical sector faces the challenge to meet more stringent environmental regulations by 2050. Meeting this target will necessitate reducing design times to improve aircraft performance. Running these simulations requires vast computing power, and as the simulation complexity increases so does the demand for High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems.
The advances in cloud computing mean that an increasing number of workloads that previously needed to be run via on-premises HPC can now run on the cloud. Come along to the talk as we explore this question and test various AWS HPC performance options for a large-scale industrial CFD test case.
The event will share the latest tips and tricks to improve performance and increase scale while also maximising cost-efficiency. There will also be information on the latest AWS service updates and product releases to make it easier to run your HPC projects via AWS. You can check out the agenda here.
Jamil and Mike will be sharing their insights into next-generation CFD on 4 November from 11.45 to 12.30pm. Book your free place here: https://hpcaws.splashthat.com/
