Are you using OpenFOAM? Our EPIC platform makes it easier to launch OpenFoam jobs, and this application is used extensively on our product. Read on to find out how to get started with OpenFoam on EPIC.
OpenFOAM* is a fantastic Open Source toolkit for a variety of applications and is widely used for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). A variety of OpenFOAM and FOAM Extend versions are supported on EPIC.
By running via EPIC, our OpenFOAM users can access world-class HPC clusters, including Peta4 at the University of Cambridge with over 36,000 CPU cores, as well as Cloud HPC instances from Amazon Web Services. EPIC makes it incredibly easy to launch OpenFOAM solver jobs on these clusters.
EPIC also provides “EPIC Desktops” for launching interactive Linux desktops. These are very useful for meshing tasks, running smaller interactive simulations and for data visualisation.
So how do you get started with OpenFOAM on EPIC? Watch our tutorial video showing how to move from a local foam run to an EPIC based job.
You can sign up at epic.zenotech.com and we’ll give you £10 of credit to kickstart your project.
